Growing up near the ocean in Southern California, I have always had a profound respect for the beauty and mystery of the sea. Over the years I have found myself taking bits and pieces of the ocean along my way, wherever my life journey would take me. Whether it was a corked bottle full of sand or a glass vase full of shells, there was always a reminder of the one place I truly love. Having these mementos of the ocean help me to feel more grounded to nature and they provide me with a sense of serenity.
